WHAT TO BRING:

  • Work gloves
  • Sturdy shoes
  • Protective eyewear
  • Long sleeves and Long pants
  • Water
  • Snacks
  • Scissors
  • Hand saw
  • Anything that would be useful to cut the trash away from the organic debris. It can get really wrapped up!

The goal is to clean up all the trash and separate it. Bagged trash, construction debris and trash, metal debris, wood debris. We are going to LEAVE the organic material for now. There will be an evaluation on what can be left to stabilize the banks, what is good to regenerate the next generation of growth and what may need to be manually moved to achieve the goal of stabilizing the River and Creek banks and encourage plants and trees to grow.

TUESDAY LEAD: Renick Smith

THURSDAY LEAD: Lisa Nye-Salladin

We need a few more folks that might want to trade off the leads on each day. Reach out through the mailing list if you are interested in a bigger commitment.
